Annual Golf Tournament

CTRH 2nd Annual MSG Bob Horrigan Memorial Golf Tournament was held on Friday, Nov. 10th, 2017 at the Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco. The proceeds were used for Veterans and First Responders relief as well as donated to the “Warrior and Family Support Fund” for the Warrior and Family Support Center located at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Central Texas Returning Heroes (“CTRH”) scheduled a full day of activities beginning at 8:00a with a Putting Contest, followed by a shotgun start of Texas Scramble Golf at 10:00a and wrapping up with an afternoon Awards Ceremony and BBQ lunch catered by OL Betsy BBQ.

A group of “Wounded Warriors” from the Warrior and Family Support Center also participated thanks to the generous support of various event sponsors.

The Texas Scramble format Golf Tournament kicked-off with a Shotgun Start of 32 hour-player teams pairing “Wounded Warriors,” and Veterans, and Sponsors and celebrity players with participating golfers. The afternoon Awards Ceremony included a BBQ lunch with live entertainment headlined by Nashville Country Music artist and Central Texas’ own Clifton Jansky.

Four-player team slots were open at $85.00 per player or $300.00 for a foursome if paid by September 1st (price includes Awards Ceremony and BBQ lunch). Everyone was welcome to watch the tournament play. Dinner tickets were available for $15.00 at the tournament. Sponsorship opportunities were also available.
